Truck & curtainsider load calculation: loading metres and pallets
A curtainsider semi-trailer offers around 13.6 loading metres of load area (internal length approx. 1360 cm, width approx. 245 cm). Floor-loaded that is roughly 34 euro pallets or 26 industrial pallets in one tier.
What is a loading metre?
A loading metre (ldm) is one running metre of load area across the full width and height of the loading space. A curtainsider has around 13.6 ldm. The calculator shows the occupied loading metres live once you switch to road freight mode.
